hey, i wont actually use this on my dog, its for me…go youtube! he he… So i was wondering what the voltage of a dog collar is.
if it’s about the dog collar that gives an electric shock when you press the ‘button’ then expect a couple of 1000V, but the amperage (number of electrons that run through your body) is really low. This depends highly on the resistance if the skin aswell, this is because the amouth of energy is really low,
So you will feel it, but it will not really harm you unless used for an extended time of-course. If you use it for an extended time your brain will get crazy because it doesn’t understand what to do with that feeling, I assume….

it depends on the dogs weight. I have a 6 pound dog and her collar hurts when you get shocked but my friend has.hast 120 pound dog and his collar hurts like hell. We both have the same electric fence compony. So they set it on weight. And they will hurt!!!!
