How do i put on a dog collar properly?
I have a nylon adjustable collar.
Please help!!!
As long as you could put two fingers inbetween the dogs neck and the collar and the collar can’t slip over the dogs head; It should be fine.

Just put it on so you can fit about 2 fingers between the collar and your dogs neck. If you have a puppy check it often because your dog will grow and you’ll have to loosen it.

Ut should fit snuggly enough to allow only about 2 (adult sized) fingers between the collar and the dogs neck. It should not be able to slip over their head (as is the case with most sight hounds).

Make sure you can fit two fingers; width between the nexk and the collar, but that it isn’t so loose it can slip over your dog’s head.

Dog collars are scary, my neighbors dog got out of his twice, from those adjustable ones…I opt for a dog harness that snaps together…

Make sure that you adjust/enlarge the collar as your dog grows.
