Is it really worth it to be a full time dog breeder?

I always wanted to be a dog breeder but just cant seem to add up all the numbers. It is very expensive to properly care for all the dogs. How do I make profit. Please give me websites or other knowledge you know so I will continue to pursue this dream.
Reputable dog breeders do not make money. They are lucky to just break even. It is okay as a sideline but not as a way to earn a living. believe me, I know.

Dog breeding should NOT be a commercial enterprise. This is called puppy farming and is only adding to the over population of ill bred dogs

You DONT make money as a dog breeder..thats how. That is why so many people speak out against the puppy mill breeders who actually try to make money that way; you just can’t take good care of your dogs and make money off of their puppies at the same time.
No good breeder is in it for the money.

to breed properly.. there is NO profit to be had.. breeding is an expensive hobby if you do things right.
You’d be better off flipping burgers at McDonald’s if you’re looking for a profit.

Good breeders don’t make a profit. The only way to make a profit is to cut as many corners as possible and to neither care for the animals you breed and bring into this world or the people who you will be selling to.

You can not make a profit unless you expend an EXORBITANT amount of money, that you can afford to be without, for a decade or more. Then, if you have bred, trained, shown and put your kennel out in the "limelight" you will START to recoup your investment, maybe $50.00 at a time, with pet and show puppies, but you may NEVER see a "clearance of expenditure. You breed quality dogs for bench & field and eat the loss for your pleasure, or you breed for profit at the expense of your stock and progeny. You must pick one. I have never known anyone breeding GOOD DOGS make a profit. ONLY BYBs and "puppy pimps" MAKE mone from a litter. It is up to you what you want to be. BUT, no matter, puppies are loud, stinky, messy, expensive and EVERYTHING else you don’t want. Don’t breed dogs if you are breeding or profit. You will be sorely dissapointed, and only the dogs will bear the suffering.
