I seen on this show they put these collars on dogs, its a chain then small sharp pricks pointing inwords toward the dogs neck so it obays owner. I think thats disgusting and bascially dog abusment. I’d like to know if anyone knows the name of the Collar. If not thanks anyways.

You are right on the money…it does not hurt the dog and it is not abuse in any way…if it was do you think stores would be allowed to sell them??? Think and research them before you pass judgement and comments. If you have a strong, dominant dog you NEED to have one.
A co-worker of mine has a pin she received from purchasing something from a animal rescue site. The pin is an awareness ribbon that looks like its made from a blue dog collar. What does this mean?
My co-worker is unaware of what its meaning is.

We’ve been using Frontline, but it doesn’t really work that well. Ticks are the main problem where we live, not fleas. And Frontline just doesn’t kill ticks very well.
Our vet recommended a flea & tick collar, she said it was much more effective than any topical product, and it costs much, much less too!
Anyways, can we put our dogs regular collar over the flea & tick collar? The box doesn’t say anything about it, and we’ve never used one.
Hmmm, frontline usually works pretty well for ticks. The new one even works on mosquitoes.
Try biospot next. Tick collars don’t last very long, but they are cheaper than frontline. Yeah you can use them under or over a collar.
You might consider a tick dip if nothing else is working.

These collars are almost always martingale style…at least from what I’ve seen. I happen to like them, but just so you know.
I’ve personally never seen them at any of the box pet stores.

When we were in Disney World last October, I bought a red leather dog collar with Mickey Mouse faces on it for my dog. I am trying to find another one for my puppy and the only place I can find online is the Laughing Place store, but the collar has been discontinued. Any one famaliar with this and where I may be able to find it online? Thanks.
