Dogs

Iver heard you can’t get home owneres insureance if you own certain dog breeds like siberian huskys and pitbulls. Can some tell me if German shepherd and Alaskan Malamutes are also on that list

I think akitas and dobermans are on that list . it is not the fact that you wont get home insurance it will just be higher . I live in florida too . My sister does as well and because she has a big dog she has to have more house insurance and it is hard enough to get insurance here as it is because of hurricaines ,I would think that they would not be so worried about dogs anymore . good luck .

My husband and I are looking to get a dog in the near future and both of agreed that we want a large dog. We want a breed that is playful, friendly, smart, easily trained and really, really big. We have the yard for a big dog, we have no children at the moment and I am a stay at home wife, so I have the time to train a puppy. All we need is to find a breed we like. Any information is helpful and links to websites with pictures is also appreciated. Thanks a lot.

I am looking for various instructions on different ways to braid hemp in both flat and round variations to make designer hemp dog collars.

look for fiber braiding methods

and when you get to where you are good at it i will be buying one of those, sounds awesomed

I live in a house of 5 people (mum, 3 brothers and me). I believe my dog like me as much as my mum, but no-where near as much as one of my brothers.

She does obey most of my commands and is very compassionate towards me, however whenever that brother is home she’s stuck to him like glue. I am currently not working and so have lots of time to spend with my dog.

I cannot get the dog to go on walks with me though – that brother always has to come with me. And because of that my dog is starting to put on some weight.

Also my dog keeps licking her paws for hours and sometimes it seems she’s chewing them and she makes them bleed. The vet says she’s allergic to something but nothing he gives her works.

That’s kind of the same situation I’m in. It’s just that I’m the brother that the dog usually sticks to like a glue, I have no idea why really, from the day we brought her home, she sticked to me. However, it’s maybe because I’m usually the one that pets her the most, I take her out for walks, my walks are the biggest she gets out of my other family members, and I’m the one that feeds her (Changes her water, her food, etc) I would say that if you keep that dog with you and next to you all the long while your brother is away, the dog could have more compassion to you as well. Giving your dog some cookies throughout the day helps a lot, however, remember not to over feed it with them, as they contain flour which isn’t the best thing for dogs. It’s usually up to 3 treats per day for a small dog, 5 a day for a normal sized dog and up to 8 per day for a big dog. I have a normal sized dog (German Shepherd) and I usually give her only 3 a day maximum.

I would like to find a Bernese Mountain Dog (puppy), and I would appreciate it if you could lead me to a reputable breeder. Thanks!

You have not said were you are from so I will give you a list of reputable breeders in the uk.

The breeders I have listed are reputable breeders, having dogs myself & showing I would not give you a backyard breeder.
Please do not buy out of a newspaper.
Also you can get from a magazine shop whsmiths mag called our dogs that will also have the breeders
